afterthoughts

I recently saw this WhatsApp picture…it was a beautiful Steemit post by Anthony Hopkins that gave me precise instructions on what to do for the rest of my life, not just for my adolescence. And it was this:

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Walk in the ocean. Say the truth you are carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else.

Reading the Daily Post, I recalled this quote. And it’s so damn true. I mean, why are we dieting, not eating that extra brownie? Why don’t we ask that guy out? Why don’t we just jump off the helicopter when we know we have the parachute? Why don’t we do these things instead of wasting time to be scared?

Comment below what you feel about this quote. Reblog, share, like.

Because we only have one life to do all we can before we regret it.

Lots of love,

Ally

  1. You are really intuitive and thoughtful for somebody who is a 13-year-old. I wish I had done a lot of things that I couldn’t do now :((

    1. Don’t worry, Louisa! As I said, its only our mindset that prevents us from doing a lot of things. No matter how old you are or what others say, go and live your dream (if you aren’t already)! And thanks for the kindness; it means a lot :DD
