the start of cute but awkward // the steps towards 80 followers

I now have 80 WordPress followers. As somebody once commented on one of my milestone posts, it’s important to be grated for all your (achievements) no matter what. Thanks for the advice, Kelsey! And thanks to all of you for allowing me to come closer to fame, but more importantly, that true state of happiness πŸ˜‰

When I first started blogging, I believed that my parents would find out. It’s always been a fear when I sit at the computer and check new comments, or write a new post. But I do know now that I absolutely ❀ blogging. Yes, I am a Christian, and yes, we shouldn’t do this without permission, to answer the query of a fellow blogger. Being in the presence of others who share my faith, who follow me truly and purely based on what they read and what I write, that’s genuine.

My last blog lasted for five months. I was an inexperienced sixth grader with a protected blog and eight followers. Two months less and ten times the followers is what Cute But Awkward has come to now. Every person that hits the follow button or enters their email address is one of the most amazing beings on earth.

I can’t believe how far I’ve reached and just so that I can prove it, here’s the link to my very first blog post πŸ˜‰

Eighty followers might not seem a big thing, because I read posts of people who had 3000 followers or something πŸ˜‰ *waves at Elm* at the time of my starting. There were so many people who encouraged me to go on.

My first follower was the Non-Alcoholic Student who has a good blog that you all should check out and my most recent follower was Elm who many of you know and an inspiration in the blogosphere.

A few bloggers I heart (with awesome blogs) are: Elm, Shay, Starr, Mukta (who’s also a fab designer), Rageshree, Olivia, Sydney, Rayne, Ash, Astrid, Eleanor,Β K.A., all the ladies at YFLC and a lot more.

You guys are bomb and my hearts are to you. *blows a kiss*

  2. Congratulations!!❀️ Nice to know that you had an interest in blogging right from sixth grade. And thanks for mentioning my nameπŸ™‚πŸ™‚β€οΈ Don’t think that it’s not an achievement. 80 followers and personal interaction with them makes a good blogger!! Rather than having millions of followers and no interactions at all….

    1. Thanks, but that’s not my approach. I totally do respect what my parents say, a lot. I don’t want to do stuff that hurt them – that’s like plowing your own path to destruction. They never disallowed me to create a new one, tho, which is what I’m doing.
